Cookies we do not set

We do not set a login cookie. We do not set an advertising cookie. The language you pick is encoded in the URL (/fr/, /de/, /es/, /pt-br/), not in a cookie, so sharing a link preserves language without tracking.

Cookies others may set

Cloudflare or the host may set a security cookie to distinguish people from bots. If you click a YouTube thumbnail, YouTube may set cookies according to Google's policies. Google Fonts requests may allow Google to see that your browser fetched a font file.

Managing cookies

Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking third-party cookies will not stop the guides from rendering. It may prevent a YouTube embed from remembering a preference after you choose to play a video.

Changes

If we add a first-party analytics cookie later, this page will say so before that code ships. Until then, treat the site as a document host, not as a product that profiles you. This policy is English-only for every language version of the wiki.
